Another Day at the Zoo, but always lots of fun!!

If there is family in town, then we have got to hit the zoo! The kids were so excited that I was taking them to the zoo! Now I know some people don't think the Boise Zoo is that cool, but that is because they have never been to the Las Vegas Zoo! Reggie protecting Halle from Brody getting her pappy!
Brody giving hugs! He lays his little head on you when he gives hugs, it is so sweet.

The zoo children!
The little dinosaur children have hatched.
Brody and Halle in the egg for all of 2 seconds!
O.K. so I never take pictures of the animals, but these little critters are never out! So I had to take a picture to prove there really are little animals that live in this habitat!
This little guy was frozen like this! I thought it was funny!

One, two, threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Yes, I know I am the cutest thing on the planet! My fan club is following close behind!

This is awesome!

Don't you love when your kids are so excited about the littlest things, like riding the little Carousel at the zoo!
I love when the sky looks like this! This is what the Las Vegas sky always looks like!

Halle and grandpa! The reason she always has a passy and blankie is because she is in disguise and does not like to be recognized when out in public.

Heather, Brody, and Mr. Mustache!

Kelton and the lions

Brody with Mr. Mustache

The gang with the Giraffe!

Halle, Mom, me, Heather, Brody, Reggie, Mr. Mustache, and Kelton!

Entering the Zoo!
I know I take way to many pictures! I have an addiction!!!!

Kelton Graduates from Preschool!!

Kelton and his teacher! One of many years of school completed! Little does he know this is just the beginning!
Kelton got to lead the flag ceremony!

Kelton loves to follow me around and ask me questions. Here are a few of the questions he has been thinking about lately!
"Mom, what is 10 +10+10+40+10+10+10+10+10+10+10+10" He will have me adding forever!
"How much is a dog?" Me "It depends on what kind of dog you want." Kelton, "How about a Yellow dog(oh I guess I should mention he had been watching Old Yeller)" Me, "Do you want a dog?" Kelton, "Yeah, do they have blue ones?" Me, "No, I don't think so." Kelton, "I've heard of a movie called Blue Old Yeller Dog!"
Is T-Rex bigger than this house?
Is T-Rex bigger that 50,100 feet?
Is T-Rex bigger than Garrets house(Garret is a friend that has a big house)?
The Sun is bigger than Garret's house!
Oh how I will miss when my little Kelton does not follow me around chatting to me about everything and anything that pops into his little mind!!

Bathtime

Brody and Heather (Tyson's wife). I thought they looked so cute so I had to throw this one in too!
Don't you just want to kiss him

This is Halle in the bath with her little cousins Tiger and Brody! She feels a little silly I think as she is really feeling like a big girl in the bath! I think she is thinking "Do you want me to be a baby or a big girl?"

Happy Birthday to ME!!

I turned the big 29 on May 19th (I'm taking the advice of a good friend of mine and will now be eternally 29)! It ended up being a great Birthday!

My mom made me dinner! Tacos one of my favorites.

All my favorite little friends were there and so excited about my Birthday! Halle really wanted to give me diamonds!

Brent made this beautiful ice cream cake and ice cream cupcakes! He is such a great cook!

My brother Tyson, his wife Heather and their adorable little boy, Brody came for my birthday (well it wasn't just for my birthday, but I'll pretend it was)!

We did a lot of swimming!

And a little water fight too!

I love the warm weather!

Hayden in control of the hose, which has warm water! My parents have hot and warm water valves!
Nothing like getting sprayed with warm water! Are these kiddos spoiled or what?

Kelton threw water at Georgie and then ran right into it soaking himself! Way to funny!

Nothing like a little Bounce around!

We have had this bounce around going on 5 years now and the kids get so excited every time we get it out! I keep thinking it is going to die, and Brent keeps threatening to throw it away, but it is too much fun!
Oh and did I mention that Brent had the house cleaned from top to bottom by the best maids ever! Let me tell you they were AWESOME, and I am super duper picky! I am telling you there were 7 of them and they were at my house for 4 hours scrubbing every little inch! So if your husband wants to give you a gift for your birthday these girls were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Thanks to everyone that made my birthday so special!!!

Hayden Mowing the Lawn or should I say the Lawn Mower Mowing Hayden!

Hayden was not listening to Brent so he ended up moving his way out of being grounded. He did the front and the back and did a great job. He was working very hard! It is hard to mow when you can barely see over the mower! Brent loved having Hayden mow and I am afraid Hayden has just earned himself a new Saturday chore!

Piano Recital

Hayden and Kara did a great job at the piano recital! Hayden did a great job with his loud, soft, fast, and slow PIRATE SONG!

Hayden did not want to get all dressed up for the recital. He told me he was suppose to dress like a Pirate since his song was about Pirates. I said "really that is what your teacher said!" He says, "Yes she told me to dress like a PIRATE!" I was beginning to panic a bit, because I had not planned on dressing him up like a pirate. After he could tell the stress I was feeling he told me she really had not told him to dress like a pirate, but could he "please where something besides this silly outfit." I said "Fine, but hurry up!" He ended up wearing the silly outfit I had laid out, but did a whole lot of whining while he dressed!
The funny thing is Hayden has never even thought about what he wears, he always tells me to go get his clothes because he hates to even look in his closet to pick his outfit.
Kara was able to use her music because she only had the music for a few days before the performance. She did a great job and was not one bit scared. I think she loved every minute!

I thought she looked so cute. I wish you could have seen her do her little bow and announce herself and her song. Kara on the other hand was very excited to get all dressed up!

We love their piano teacher. She is so nice and the kids just love her and she has really motivated them to practice all on their own with out whining! Now that's what I call a great Piano Teacher(:

Ballet pictures and Bee Project!

Kara with her Insect project!Grandma found a beautiful Bumblebee at Great Grandma's house for Kara's project. Kara loved doing the project and used her beautiful handwriting to write her report. I don't think I can write as nicely as Kara does. Kara always takes her time to make everything look perfect and to complete her projects thoroughly.
Here is the bumblebee in it's habitat!
(I always dread doing these projects. I hate due dates and feeling the pressure to get things done by a certain time, it reminds me of school. I am not very creative either so I always have a mental block when it comes to thinking of something different).
Kara was very excited and did all the work so this project actually ended up being fun!
Kara in her Ballet costume

Kara and 2 girls from class!

Kara loves ballet and I love watching her, she is very graceful and loves music! I think one of my favorite thing is watching Kara and Halle at Ballet. They both love to dance! Kara is such a great help and has always been such an easy child.

This month seems to be full of projects and activities, it makes me tired just thinking about all of them! Unfortunately I am in that week where everything makes me tired rather than excited! Do you have those weeks where everything seems so hard. Just getting out of bed seems hard and then other weeks when everything is just so enjoyable and easy! I used to think it was because I had a baby and did not sleep the night through, but I don't have a baby and I still have those weeks unfortunately(:!!

Mother's Brunch With My Keltonator!

Me and My little Kelton!
(This face that I make in pictures a lot of times. I have figured it out. It is my about to close my eyes face!)
Kelton made me this little place mat!

Kelton is my shy guy! He is the little boy that likes to be invisible. Unfortunately he actually is pretty good at being invisible. He is also my gadget guy, and has a hard time not touching buttons.Have you ever seen the 1st Dennis the Mennis? My little Kelton is that Dennis the Mennis reincarnated. He tries not to touch, but it is nearly impossible for him. He climbs the unclimbable, and thinks of the unthinkable. One day I had turned the sprinkler on very low, and told Kelton not to turn it up. I watched his little hands moving and his body moving toward the faucet. He would reach for it and then his brain would tell him not to do it, but ultimately his little body over took him and he reach to turn the nob all the way up. I caught him before his little cousin was scarred for life by a scary sprinkler on full blast. He is very lovable and has a heart of gold. He loves to cuddle and squeeze people. He is also very hard on himself and feels he should be better at everything than he really is!

I do love my little muscle man Kelton. Kelton loves to do push-ups and pull-ups just like his Daddy!
(My eyes open face)

Kelton Why's and What's ................

Why does the sky get dark and then light?
Why does that boy have to take ballet?
What is a pine cone?
Are we in the earth or on top of the earth?
Are bees mean?
Soon I want to go to outer space!
If I am on top of the earth than I am scared!
Could Jesus eat poison?
