Piano Recital!

These are cupcakes we made at preschool!

Hayden said, "I'm so glad your doing preschool mom!  Now there is always so much fun stuff to do and eat around here!"

After the recital at the elderly care center we decided to try to get a picture of all the kids by the tree!

It's so much easier to take pictures of everyone now that they are getting older!

But it's still not easy!

Love that smile!

That ones pretty cute too!

Halle decided the other day that if she sleeps in a room that looks like a boy room then she will dream about monsters!  On the other hand if she sleeps in a girl room she dreams about princesses!  She's putting a request in for a princess room!

Kara and Madeline!  Madeline's mom is the kids piano teacher and we love her!

I'd like to say the kids did awesome, but then I'd be lying.  Hayden actually forgot the entire song!  The guy with the photographic memory forgot!  I felt so bad for him.  I will say that the piano was out of tune and about 3 other kids also forgot their songs.  I mentioned this to Hayden and he told me "there's no excuse for forgetting mom, I should have remembered it."

I'm not sure what Kelton is doing!

Halle and one of her many friends!

She really loves Chloe!!

My little perfectionist also made a few little mistakes and had to start over.  She did not forget her song, but I was having a hard time believing this was the same child that had been playing at home.

Kelton was able to use his book.  Thank goodness!  I don't know what he would have done if he would have forgotten his song, but I know he would not have stayed as composed as Hayden.

They all decided to wear their Santa hats!  I have very festive kiddos!

Basketball Games and Trophies!

Hayden and Kelton both played basketball this season.

Hayden's team won second place in the tournamet!

Kelton was soooo excited about his trophy!  He really liked basketball and was a real hustler.  Still learning the difference between being polite and playing a sport.  You work so hard to teach your kids good manners and then they play sports where every ones yelling grab the ball, take it away from him, get in front of them,  arms out, etc........

Hayden bringing the ball down the court.

It's freezing outside!

Go Kelton!

He might be small, but hes got lots of heart!

Hayden's team did not get trophies.  They got gift cards to a hamburger place.  I thought it was a great idea, but the kids felt jipped!  I guess kids don't love food like grown-ups.  Actually Hayden would probably trade his food in for a toy any day!  He definitely eats to live.

School Programs and Fun!

I had to snap this picture of Kelton eating breakfast with his hat and gloves.

Kelton

Halle had a little school party too.  I had the kids sing 5 little songs and then we decorated sugar cookies.  The kids sang so good and were perfect little children!!!!

Halle can't get enough of preschool, but she has decided she does not want to go to the BIG school.

Hayden in his school program!

Hayden had a part rapping as Mahler the famous composer!!

This is Hayden and some friends after the play!

Kelton's school program!  They were suppose to dress like penguins.  Cousin Reggie had a part.  He is in the picture above.

Kelton singing.  He really wanted to pull his shirt over his head so that he would really look like a penguin!

My little toothless redheads!

Halle loves Kelton to pull her around on her skates.  He sure is a good brother, and Halle loves Kelton!

Kids dress up Kelton's Bear project!

Halle when she just wakes up!  Her normal morning and night time ritual is to ask "what are we doing today?"  She wants the run down on the entire plan for the day!  If I don't have a plan for her she makes sure we make one!!

The kids off too school with Kelton's Teddy Bear float!  He only ripped it apart once!

Funny faces the Ryan and Kathy Dobbs Family taught us!

One normal one for the record!

My little Kelton is such a perfectionist!

He threw candy out as he walked.  He was so cute at home practicing how he would throw the candy.  He also wanted me to bring enough candy for the whole school!!!

Santa!

                                                                 Anual trip to see Santa!

 BRRR!

Nothing like a brother!

I love these boys and I'm so glad they love each other too!

We brought along some friends too!

Kara and Madeline!  I'm so glad she has such a nice friend!!

Peyton and Halle!  They were born 1 week apart!

I think Halle is spoiled with all her cousins!  She loves Peyton!

Kara and Santa!

Kara was trying hard not to believe this year, but in the end she has decided it's just too much fun to believe!  Plus it is her only hope for a real live animal, since she knows her parents will never get her one.  Actually I'm afraid my kids are going to fill their homes with animals.  At least it won't be my house!

These girls were definitely meant to be cousins!

Halle was a little nervous, but Peyton was a pro!!!

Kelton making sure to tell Santa all the things he wants (not really enough time for that!)

Natalie biting her lip trying to control her inner desire to line the kids up correctly and spank the children who push and cut in line!

Halle letting us all know the line for Santa took forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
