HAPPY 10th BIRTHDAY HAYDEN HUCKS

Hayden wanted Donuts instead of Cake for his Birthday! He loves DONUTS!!
Hayden said he wanted a bike for his birthday, but he said if it was too expensive he did not need a new bike!
The family Party! We thought it was going to rain on Hayden's Birthday so we moved his friend party to the next day!!
The friend Party. A couple of the little boys had to leave before I snapped the picture! I was so busy Barbecuing I missed taking pictures!!
Hayden wanted to play capture the flag and have a water fight, which we did! Thanks to Daddy for playing and entertaining all the kids! I think we wore the boys out, if that is possible!
Present time!
OK! I just couldn't resist the hands in the pants bootie crack look (This is Kelton just to clarify)!
Tribute to my Hayden!
It is unbelievable how quickly time goes by! It seems like only yesterday he was running through the town homes we lived in pointing and naming the numbers and letters on the homes! Hayden was my very busy boy! He started running at 10 months. He never walked! He had one speed .....fast! I chased him all over the place! Sometimes we think were teaching our kids so much, but then we start to realize we are the ones really learning. When Hayden was 1 year I took a nursing job at night and I cried every night as I drove to work. I hated missing out on his little life. I remember Brent telling me that they were watching Sesame street and Hayden looked at the number 10 on the TV and said 10! I was so bummed that I missed it! Hayden was such a smart boy and could point to all the numbers and letters and name them by the time he was 18 months old. He has continued to love reading and reads at least a book a week. He seems to be able to retain everything he reads. He is very responsible and very self sufficient. He is a very good big brother! He loves to know the rules of life and follow them! I love my Hayden! Hayden loves life and fun and Choosing the Right! Thanks Hayden for helping me be a better mom and person! I hope I never miss another minute of your life!!

Locks of Love

Kara's hair was getting really long so we decided to cut it and donate it to Locks of Love! Halle's was not quite long enough to donate, but she wanted a new look too!
The back! Aunt Katie cut the girls hair, and I think she did a great job!

I wish I had taken a before picture, but I think there are probably a thousand pictures of the before hair, except most of the time we wear pony tails!!

Halle with her new bob and bangs too!! This girl is a crazy little nut! I am telling you I don't know where she came from, but she is a sassy little stinker!!

Washington Trip!! Lexi Graduates from High School!

We had so much fun on our trip to Washington! Mark, Kerri, Lexi, and Tanner were so much fun! The kids had a blast! Here we are at the Olympia Farmers Market! Hayden, Kelton, Tanner, Lexi, Halle, and Kara!

Farmers Market Treats! Picture by Hayden

Me, Halle, Hayden, and Kara! Brent did not make it on our trip with us and Kelton refused to get in the photo!

This is what Kelton was doing while we were posing!

Kerri and Kara on the beach!

Lexi and Hayden being silly!

Grandpa worried that he is going to have to go in after Kelton!

Hayden and Kara arch enemies, just kidding, but it is actually nice to see them hugging, since they have a little more of a head butting relationship!

My little Halle on the beach!

Grandpa and Halle! Grandpa and Grandma were so much help! We appreciate all they do for us!! Hayden and Kelton road with Grandma and Grandpa to and from Washington, a 10 hour drive from our home! It was such a beautiful drive it really did not seem that bad!

Tanner, Kara, Hayden, and Kelton on the pier! Good thing Grandpa did not see this he might have had a heart attack!!

Tanner played and played and played and played and played with the kids! They just could not get enough of him!

More fun!
Kelton decided that since there are so many trees in Washington then that means that they have more air to breath! He also was excited to see Mark and Kerri's home because since they live in the forest their house must be built completely out of wood. He was excited to see what a wood washer, dryer, and pillow looked like! He liked the house even though there was not a wood washer and dryer or pillow!
We took a little trip down the street to a farm close by the Wright's home. I think if we lived in Olympia we would have to visit this daily!

The little chicks and ducks! Poor little Kelton got really sick and so missed the farm! When I got home I took him to the Dr. and found out that he had Strep! Poor guy! He was such a trooper and even had a fun when the Motrin kicked in!

Peacock
Brody, Halle , Kara, and Hayden looking at the brand new chicks. They even got to pet them.

Feeding the chicks was a little more painful! Little Brody actually got pecked by one of the chickens, but he was a tough guy, and did not even cry!

Kara thought the goat was going to bite her, but she still wanted to feed him!
When she discovered he really just licked you she was in heaven!
Halle too was a little nervous about feeding the goats!

Excited too!
Little Brody was so cute hugging Hayden!

More Hugs!
More hugs!

And More HUGS!

Braver!

The pig was a little harder to feed, but we wanted to make sure everyone was fed!
Hayden got into too.

Loving it!

Halle and Kara outside the Farm! Kara could live on a farm! She absolutely loves the animals

It definitely takes concentration!
There was a cat that had just had kittens and was in a cage! There was also a dead bird in the cage (which left an everlasting impression on my animal lovers). The cat hissed at the cage when I looked in and so I did what any brave mother would do and I screamed and jumped back! Halle later told Grandma "We saw a cat and it scared mommy and then mommy scared us kids."

This goat jumped over the fence and stole that bag of food from Grandpa! Yes Grandpa, not one of the kids!

They had homemade donuts and the best Apple Fritters ever! Me and Grandpa were trying to watch our waist lines and just share one Apple Fritter, but after one bite Grandpa went back in and bought a dozen, so much for watching our waist lines!
Lexi's Graduation! Doesn't Kelton look like he is having fun at the hands of his brother? What a patient guy Kelton is? If you get punched by Kelton you definitely deserved it, because he is unbelievably patient with people that are annoying him!

Lexi! My niece! She is so cute and fun! She painted the girls fingernails and toes and they just loved her!

Halle and Lexi!

Here is the whole group! Tyson and Heather and their cute little boy Brody! I just have to say that little Brody is so cute and I think I could laugh all day watching him run from thing to thing and mimick everyone! Plus he is so happy and has the cutest laugh! Me, Natatlie, Mom, and Dad, My kids, and THE WRIGHT FAMILY!!!
The trip was great! The drive was beautiful. The company was even better! The Wrights took us to dinner and also had a great Barb-que for Lexi on Sunday! It is hard to believe that Lexi is graduating! Mark also took the kids for a ride on his cool motorcycle! I took so many pictures at the farm that I missed taking pictures of some of the other activities. I 'll add them once I get some of the pictures from Grandma and Grandpa!!
