The kids really wanted to put up lights this year. Last year Brent wasn't in the mood and so I did a crazy job of stringing lights around a tree a real doozy of a job. Taking them off the tree was horrible and they looked bad too. Brent is a real perfectionist so if he can't be the best he doesn't want to do it at all (hmm sounds like one of my children). Well this year he risked his life on our roof to put up the lights. The kids were so excited and helped and watched everything. Were happy to say that our lights are working after a visit from the electrician!! You didn't think we could just put the lights up and turn them on and they would work (no their is always something)! Well they do work now and Halle wants to go look at rainbow lights all day and night! She loves the Christmas lights. She wants Santa to bring her a baby and some lipstick! Christmas seems like it is almost here the kids are counting down. Hayden has so many plans. Right now he is buying Christmas for just about everyone and has thought of presents and secret Santa ideas to get us into Summer. I hope everything slows down a little and hopefully we will be able to do things the easy way instead of the hard way! Kelton just told me to stop looking and the computer and doing nothing! I guess that means I am done blogging!!
