Halle' Dr Visit

Halle waiting for the Dr., getting a little crazy! Being locked in a small space with a 2 year old for to long can cause one to go a little crazy. Keeping them from laying on the floor and getting every disease known to man, and keeping them off the Dr. stool is a real chore!
One can only suck a pappy and color for so long!!

They practically stood on their heads to distract Halle while she had her blood drawn! They also gave her a pink bracelet for being such a good girl!!

We had never been to the Garden's at Thanksgiving Point. It really is beautiful. I would recommend visiting it if you are ever in Utah. The kids had lots of fun running through the park and rolling down the hills! Kelton even managed to get a large goose egg on top of his head! He tripped while running and just really smacked his head!!! Thanks Manny (Manny is Brent's mom) for taking us to the Gardens!!

Utah Cousins

We met up with the Christianson Clan at BYU! The kids were so excited to see their cousins! Uncle Frank is a professor at BYU and Aunt Stace teaches religion. They showed us their favorite climbing tree and helped us pick out some good books to read.

We then went back to the Christianson's where the kids chased the cats all over. Halle and Kara were in heaven. They both love animals and girl cousins!!

Aunt Stace teaches religion, but is also a rock star, so Brent had to show off his drumming abilities! Halle of course thought it was lots of fun and may also want to be a drummer.

Home Sick

Well, we started out the morning pretty good! I was running around trying to get the kids off to school. I was paying close attention to my time schedule. I had to be at school at 9 to help in Kara's class and then I was coming home to pack to go to Utah to see Halle's Dr. I was doing pretty well, I got the kids onto the bus, and then rushed home to finish up a few things before I headed out to the school. I arrived at the school at 8:59 using every bit of time as efficiently as possible, and I ran to Kara's class. As I came down the hall I noticed Kara walking to her class holding her hands in the air. She had barfed on the bus and had vomit all over her mittens and on her leg. Well, I did not end up helping in the class! Poor bus driver, I just hate vomit. So I brought my sicko home! Kelton and Kara got Kara's lunch out and started chowing down!! So much for not spreading germs!! Kelton of course is in heaven now that Kara is home! I am hoping that we don't all begin to vomit on our way to Utah! I also wish I could do like Kara and throw up once and then go play as if nothing happened.

After the game we came home to Kara, Teja, and Kelton all snuggled up in Kara's bed!! They were all pooped out!!

Halle and Roxie were also great friends! They put on their ballet outfits and Grandma spoiled them with lots of attention and books!! Halle can't get enough of Grandma!! It is an addiction!!

Then true to the Dobbs' luck the coach decided to change Dallas' number to 43 for the game so he could do some special play!! So if you are looking for Dallas' number 51, keep looking, because he just might be 43!!!

We have had a great weekend with family! We love to have family come and visit!! The kids just love their cousins! Brady, Brandi, Teja, and Roxie came first followed by Jason and Suzzanna (friends from Las Vegas), and then Ryan and Payton! Kara and Teja couldn't get enough of each other and Payton and Hayden did not stop talking for the whole 24hrs they were together!! We also had the Humphreys Diabetes Center stop by to take our blood for a study we are going to be a part of! Brady, Me, Kelton, Halle, George, and Reggie were all very brave and gave blood! Then we were off to the Bronco game!!! We got a babysitter for the little kids!!! Ryan took us all out for dinner after the game!! Thanks Ryan your always so generous!! It was soooooo fun to see everyone!! We wish they all could have stayed longer!!

Hayden also had his last soccer game! He played really good! I think it was his best game, he really got in there and really played hard.

My little Kare Bear came home from school, rang the doorbell and said "HAPPY HALLOWEEN!" I love seeing this sweet face at my door! Kara is a pleaser and is always trying to do her best!

We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch! The kids always love the pumpkin patch! I am a picture fanatic! I just love pictures. I try to pick my favorites, but I just have to many favorites.

Hayden loves to write and act out plays! So Sunday he wrote, directed, and acted in his play! He gets very excited about making sure everything is just right, and very funny! He invited Kara, Kelton, George, and Reggie to act in his play. He also invited Grandpa, Grandma, Nanny, Grace, and Natalie to watch. Below is the play he wrote:

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess she was so beautiful no one could resist her. Thats why she was in danger. Then, one night a black knight came and took the princess away. The princess woke up and cried, (Kara) Oh! I'm in peril! So much peril! (George) Oh, Be quiet princess! Your going to marry me! (Kara) "Oh! Don't!" The three knights woke up and the bigggest one howled out (Reggie) "The princess!" The second biggest knight said (Hayden) Princess what pr The princess! Well why didn't you say so!" Then the smallest knight (Kelton) "OOF" (Hayden) "Did you hear that!" (Kelton) "Hear what?" he said drowsily. (Hayden) "Hear What?" he said in disbelief. (Hayden) "The princess is in Peril!" (Kelton) "What!? We have got to go!" So they ran out the door. They ran and ran until they came to a cave. In it they saw the princess! What happened? They started filling her with questions. (Kara) "MMMM", she said in anger. (Kelton) "Oh you are all tied up!" (Reggie) "Well, We will let you be." And with that those dumb knights walked away. Now the princess and the black night had a weird life. But, it worked out. Some people think he regreted it. Others doubt.

The play was funny and Hayden sang some silly songs at the end, which made us all laugh! He said to Brent afterwards, "Dad, even you laughed!" If Brent laughs it must be FUNNY!
