We love Rainbows at our home and Kara is an expert at drawing the rainbow and the correct order of the colors of the rainbow so when we saw this beautiful rainbow we had to get a picture! We all ran out to see this beautiful Rainbow in our yard! Halle was down at Grandmas and when she saw the rainbow she said, "Who colored that?" Grandma said, "God." Halle then ran into the house to get uncle Dallas to show him the rainbow! By the time Dallas came out to see the rainbow it was gone. Halle looked up at him and said, "Oh it's gone, maybe God will draw it again."

GO HALLE!
The wreck! Hayden on bottom, then George, and then Kelton! George was soaked by the end! Good thing they all had their snow pants on! We learned our lesson after the last time we brought them all, and they all had come home completely soaked!

Trip to the Hospital!
Halle at the hospital, taken from my cell phone! Halle reading a book she was really out of it here! She couldn't talk at all at this point.
Breathing treatment.
Completely knocked out!
Breathing treatment.
Completely knocked out!
So here we are at the hospital after Halle got a peanut close to her mouth. It was pretty scary we even ended up having to use the epi-pen before we rushed her to the hospital. Lets see she started out vomiting and then started to have trouble breathing. We had already given her 2 doses of Benadryl, and so decided it was time for the epi-pen. Dallas came over and helped Brent give her a blessing and then we were off to the hospital. Grandma came with us. Halle was very pale at this point. By the time we got to the hospital she seemed to be breathing a little better, but had broken out in hives all over and was itching her head, neck, and ears a lot. Her SaO2 levels were pretty low so they started her on a breathing treatment and started an IV on her to give her some meds. She responded well and they kept us overnight to make sure she was O.K. They sent us home with prednisolone to give to her for the next 5 days(you know the happy pill j/k)!
The hospital stay was long to say the least. I haven't had to stay awake all night in a long time. Halle slept pretty good until we received a room with another bed where I could lay down. They came in about 1am to give her her meds through her IV. At about 1:45 her IV came out of her hand and sprayed blood all over the room. Halle then woke up and was very upset that grandma was not with us anymore. She also was upset that she was at the hospital. She said "I don't want to be here I want to be at home in my bed with my mommy and daddy!" She was awake the rest of our stay. She was hungry and did not want anything hooked up to her. She was happy to go home and we are so grateful to have her home with us, and are a little nervous about her eating anything!!
Brent was home with the other kids and Kara began throwing up with the flu! When it rains it seems to poor! Happy everyone is alive! Happy to be tired! Happy to have lots of laundry! Happy to kiss all my kids goodnight tonight!

Funny Kids!
I thought I would write a couple funny things the kids said.......
Hayden came home from school and asked me a question and I said, "I thought Dad was going to do that," and he said to me "Mom, expect nothing from DAD, except that he will workout and make money, otherwise expect nothing!!!" Well I guess that has been my problem all these years, I have been expecting too much.
Halle was wearing Grandma's expensive necklace and Brent took it off over her head and it broke. Well Grandma saw Halle the next day and she asked Halle "Did you break my necklace?" Halle looked her in the eyes and then placed one of her play necklaces around Grandma's neck and said, "Relax, calm down, it will be O.K.. Mommy will fix it, Daddy broke it!"
Halle hates to be babysat and she usually cries as soon as she spots a babysitter. Well tonight she decided she would be good, so the babysitter came and she looked up at me and said, "I am going to be a good girl, so I will not cry!"

Kara standing ready!
Kara and Kelton tested for their Orange Belt decided, which means they get these orange headbands and a tiger for their orange belts! They were very excited and did a great job! Kelton was nervous, but he just got out there and did it! Kara also did great and was definitely the loudest kiddo on the mat! You really wouldn't think she would be, but she is!!
So the kids decided they wanted to celebrate by getting a Main Street Burger and eating them at the house! Good for me, because it was getting late! Well we got home and the silliness begins! Nonstop giggling. Me and Brent tried to carry on a normal conversation, but to no avail. The kids just continued to say words like banana(you know how funny that is) or anything really and it would send them all into giggling maniacs. Well they finally laughed themselves to sleep. So this morning when they woke up I thought they would be all laughed out. No they laughed all through breakfast, which caused us to miss the bus ( you know how it is when your giggling so much and you choke on your food and can't get your shoes on). So hopefully when the kids get home today everything won't be quite so funny!

Day to Day!
We got to babysit cute little Tiger! Halle thought it was the greatest and wanted to help do everything! She would look at him and say "OH, he wants his Katie, OH, he wants his Dallas!" She does this little sigh whenever she says Oh wa, it is very funny and sounds very sympathetic. He was such a good little baby! Katie keeps him so cute we could have just kissed and hugged him forever. The kids were very helpful and wanted to make sure Tiger had everything he could possibly want or need!!
