Happy Birthday to Kelton!

Happy Birthday Keltonator!

We love this guy.  He is definitely our little peacemaker.  He gets along with everyone and everyone wants to play with him.  He just has a way about making you feel good.  When I come home from work he always gives me a really good hug and thanks me for going to work for our family.
We had a missionary in our ward come home from his mission and he sang "Never a Better Hero," by Kenneth Cope.  The kids thought it was really good.  The next Sunday with out thinking we put that CD on in the car on the way to church.  The kids thought it was the missionary.  I had actually forgotten that that was the song he had sung in church the week before.  Now when we get in the car Kelton will ask, "can you play that song "Never a better?"  Kara and Kelton have decided this is their new favorite song.  Me and Brent were kind of laughing when they first started asking for the song.  The song is good, but usually they want something like "Baby Your a Firework".  I'm glad my little Kelton appreciates good music.  He's a  thinker and a feeler.
Kelton really wanted to go to Red Robin and the movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid for his Birthday!

He also wanted an Avenger Cake!  Well I looked up Avenger Cakes on the Internet and they looked Awesome.  They were covered in that Fondant stuff.  Brent said, he would try to make it, and I almost let him, but than decided it would be better not to spend a fortune trying to make a cool looking cake that probably would not look so cool.  Instead we had the cousins over and they all designed Avenger Cupcakes.

Brent messing around as usual and Kelton being obedient as usual.

Halle just loves Kelton!  He is a very good brother to her and when they play together they can't stop giggling.  I love listening to them play together.
Kara's Iron Man Cupcake!  Actually I was pretty impressed with how well the kids decorated their cupcakes.

Card with Money from G&G!
We also went boating with the Dobbs Family that morning.  Kelton got up for the first time on the wake-board.  He said that made his Birthday the Best Day ever!  Kelton is very competitive with himself.  He thinks he should be awesome the first time he tries anything.  Sometimes he wants to give up when he cannot do things the first time, but he keeps trying.  Kelton is a very determined boy and always does things with his whole heart.  We are so grateful for Kelton's example in our family.  He makes us all want to be better.  He is a very compassionate person, and seems to always take into account the feelings of others.  He also has a gift for knowing what is wrong and what is right.  When I ask Kelton to help me with the kitchen he always stays and finishes the job.  He makes sure every counter is wiped down and never leaves until the job is complete.  He never cuts corners in his work.  It is always his best work even when he does his chores at home. The one thing I've noticed about Kelton is that he always does things for the right reasons. It's his birthday so as his mother I get to brag about him!  We love you Kelton!
