We've taken a few trips with the Dobbs just around Reno
We went boating at Boulder Bar, which is a beautiful warm lake in Northern California. I think it was about 2 hrs from where we live. The Dobbs forgot to put oil in their boat and so we broke down out on the lake and had to be towed into the shore. It took over an hour I think to tow us in. We still had lots of fun, but unfortunately the boat did not bode well. It would cost $6500 to repair the damages to the engine!
OUCH!
I have lots of pictures on my phone of us wake-boarding, but unfortunately they probably wont make it on to this blog post.
I just took pictures of the drive.
We then went to Tahoe with the Dobbs to a Zip lining course. It was so fun, and a great experience for the kids. It is a great way to over come fear and gain confidence. Halle and Ciara were both very scared at first, but by the end were little pros.
Hayden, Brooklyn, Kara, Halle, and Ciara. They looked so cute in their gear.
There were two courses, so the older kids went on a harder course with the Dad's.
Kelton, Brooklyn and Kara were pros. They just ran off together on their own.

Lots of fun just being together. I love living by family.
Down by the lake. I think I'm losing my creative side. I only state the obvious.
All of us out on Ry's sailboat.
Just kidding. I just took this picture because I thought it was beautiful.

I love this picture. Such cute girls!
I think I want to live in Tahoe. I'm sure I'll change my mind when it starts snowing.
The kids all seem to be adjusting to there new schools. Sometimes they have troubles, but they seem to be working through them and learning about life in the process. It's good to do hard things. It gives you a better understanding of life and others. I miss my mornings with the kids, but Brent is doing a good job keeping the kids on track and making lunches. He does such a good job it makes it easy for me to go to work. I do enjoy my one day off during the week, and the girls always have a special hair do for me to try on that day. Brent sticks to basic pony tails. We have been putting hair rollers in a lot the night before and so that seems to help with the hair too. I like most of the people I work with and am enjoying what I do especially when I'm at work. It's always hard to go back to work after the weekend even when you enjoy what you do. Well at least that is what I think. Maybe if I didn't have kids and I didn't like just hanging out with Brent than it would be easier. I guess I'm glad it's hard to go to work on Mondays because I would never want to give up that part of my life (Brent and the kids). Enough of my profound thoughts for today.
