One more quick post before our last goodbye to Mississippi! I have to make this quick because I'm suppose to be packing! Actually Brent is outside taking down the trampoline at this very moment. I was out there too. We just found tons of spiders and black widows in the springs of our trampoline. Scary! So of course I'm itching like crazy. There are also maggots out by the garbage can. Anyway I took some pictures of the Black Widows and all there eggs so I'll post them on my Goodbye Mississippi post.
Goodbye to School. This is Hayden in the courtyard during their shirt signing.
I did not get much of Halle's class this year so I tried to take a few on the last day of school.
Mrs. Cook is in the background. She was the very strict assistant the retired this year after 32 years. I wish I had a recording.
Halle's table of little friends.
Halle's teacher, Mrs. Bentz! She is going to have a baby and Halle was very excited for her!!
Goodbye to Kelton's teacher Mrs. Snell! She was a good friend. I just loved her, and Kelton did too, most of the time.
Kara's teacher Ms. Ishee with the "Stankey shoe"
Kara with her Bio Bottle Ms. Oprah!
Hayden leaving the school!
My little Cub Scouts!
Eli won 1st place at the pinewood Derby! We loved Eli! Kelton's best friend in Mississippi. Kelton said, Eli is a very good boy who never says bad words, is kind to everyone, and has the best baby sister. Eli has 6 brothers and sisters, and Kelton thinks their family is awesome because they are so good.
Kelton loved the pinewood Derby but was a little disappointed by his place. He was 4th place, which is very good. Well there were only 5 contestants so......anyways he did a good job with the loss. He didn't throw his car or fall on the ground and cry, so I would say it was a success. Sometimes it is good for your kids to lose. Kelton had been working on his car for weeks and weeks he was sooooo excited about this race. Brent on the other hand was a little preoccupied with all that was on his plate and so I think the car suffered a little.
It all turned out good and Kelton wanted me to get close ups of all his loot!
I'm glad he liked the Trophies I made for them!!!
A few weeks ago we heard whaling and gnashing of teeth in the night as if a cat was dying.
2 weeks later we find 2 baby kittens in our storage bin.
The kids decided this was a gift from God! They have been praying for an animal and their prayers had been answered. It occurred on Brent's birthday so Kara decided it was a Happy Birthday to Daddy!
Brent on the other hand thought it might be a curse. Hayden was surprised how nice his Dad was with the kitten since he has been known to shoot cats pooping in our yard with pellet guns.
Kelton left with his and our friend Mr. Brad to go do one last Paint balling excursion. He is so nice to always take Hayden along and Hayden loved loved loved it!!! Brent wanted to go too. It was his birthday and all, but he had to work :(
These pictures are dedicated to my little animal lovers! Who can now say they owned 2 little kittens for a day. The kids played with the kittens all day, and then during the night the mama cat took the kittens into the forest never to be seen again. I'm sure they were eaten by something. Very sad for the girls. Very happy for their parents. Kara had already found her Build a Bear Bag that she was going to take them to Reno in.

We did not get to do much celebrating for Brent's Birthday or our anniversary, so I'm saving the celebrations for another time. Actually we've been so busy that we actually both forgot it was our anniversary until my phone reminded me. Thank goodness for those smart phones. What did we do with out them. I actually used to have to remember on my own. I think Brent's present is us moving out of Mississippi. I don't think I've ever seen him work so hard and fast. He is soooo excited to leave. He keeps telling me that. I am excited too, but sad too. A place just begins to grow on you, and so do the people. I'm glad to have formed the friendships here and I will never forget all the wonderful people we have met. My appreciation for the Gospel and my testimony has grown so much out here and so has my kids. When asked what their favorite part about Mississippi was we had a unanimous reply of the church. The kids all decided they wanted to bear their testimonies in church, which was a big deal because they have never done it before. Halle opted out, but the others did it. They all did very good and it was very heart felt. I love when they really say what is in their heart. It was very sweet. Brent had been talking to Kelton and said bearing your testimony is not any scarier than going on that big huge roller coaster. Kelton said, "it's scarier dad and its even scarier than having a clown doll come to life holding a knife!"
We are so grateful for all of our experiences here and are so grateful for our families. Brent received a card from my parents that has been providing us with lots of entertainment. The kids just can't stop reading it and using all the Mississippi words as they pack. We are doing the Bass packing job. We are very excited to live by family again and are all very grateful for all y'alls thoughtfulness and all y'alls prayers in all's behalf.
