Just some pictures..

Here are just some quick little photos that never were posted! I wanted to take pictures of everything we did one day, but that only lasted for about an hour and then I got distracted, we decide to go to the water park and so I never did it. Some of these are from that day! The pictures are all out of order! Kelton decided to get himself some lemonade and yippee the whole picture spilled all over the floor and like a good mom I took a picture, and like a good boy he cried over spilled lemonade!
And like a good girl my little Kara ran to her brothers rescue and cleaned up the lemonade. I did not yell at Kelton, but I did give a long sigh................................... and said K........eeeeeeeeeeelton. I am not one to yell over spilling, but it is a bummer none the less!

Grandma took this one of Kara selling! I know I already posted about our bake sell, but I did not get Kara by herself!!

Grandpa has been practicing football with Hayden! This was Hayden's 1st year of football and so Grandpa has been a huge help!

Hayden made an interception in his 1st game!! He was so stunned he forgot to run!! He is loving football. Thanks Grandpa for helping Hayden with his throwing and catching!! One of the benefits of living close to Grandpa and Grandma(:

Halle wore this baby bonnet on backward all day one day!

Lately Halle has really wanted to go back to her baby days! Maybe she senses my longing to slow down the growing up thing!

Halle got up this morning and got all dressed and came out to run on the treadmill with me! I did not get much of a work out, but she thought it was fun!

Grocery helper!

This is what Halle came down looking like one morning! I swear I did not put her to bed looking like this! Halle has been going to her Great Grandma's house early in the mornings to wake her and help her get all dressed. We even had to take Halle over to find Nanny's pjs as Halle had helped her put them away! She had hung them up in her closet, but had put them on the lower rack! I thought it was so cute how she had hung them and just put them away for her!

Hayden went corn picking with George and Reggie and Grandma and Grandpa! They had lots of fun and the best part was Grandma and Grandpa cooked, and bagged it for us! Yeah now we have fresh corn all winter long!!

Grandma took this of Halle and called her the Corn picker Fairy Godmother! A very fitting name! This girl goes through I don't know 6 outfits a day and she is unbelievable in heals!!

POPSICLES 25cents SELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My kids want to have a lemonade stand every day, but it is just not very fun when you don't sell anything, so we decided to sell Popsicles and some homemade brownies too! I think the kids selling have eaten most of the Popsicles!

Kelton's little friend told Kara she should charge 50 cents for the Popsicles, but she told him they would not sell any if they charged that much! I thought they were funny discussing prices and profit margins.

They also decided it is only fun when you have customers! They road the neighborhood eliciting business. They were a little discouraged by all the no thank yous! Yesterday was a better day even though today they had a better inventory!

The chaos of my home! Lets see today I have 9 kids playing at my house! I guess that is not too bad! My floors need some serious mopping for the second time today(well the 1st time was not very good as I just have been walking around with wet wipes on my feet, don't want to give the wrong impression). I have placed wet wipes by the doors to cut down on the dirt(: I have been trying to invent something creative for feet wiping, but maybe I'm the only one who's kids run around with bare feet and then need some serious wiping before they enter the house! O.K. back to the ice cream sell. Now you know how my brain function is (scattered)!!!

We put some music outside to entice customers, you know ice cream truck music!

My little dancing girl! This girl never stops dancing and singing! At this very moment she is singing at the top of her lungs!!

So lets see maybe I will mow the lawn during the Popsicle sell, yesterday I got my garage cleaned out during the Popsicle sell(: I always have a huge list of things I want to get done and am very ambitious at the beginning of the day, but by the end of the day I just start staring and saying sure, yeah, whatever you want as long as you get it yourself(:

Oh and by the way for all you women that have husbands that snore I now have great sympathy for you! Brent has been sick the past week and has been snoring like a freight train is coming through our room, needless to say I have gotten little sleep!

Kelton 18 months

Sometimes it is fun to go down memory lane. I can't believe how big my little boy has gotten. I do miss that tiny little snugly boy. I wish sometimes I could go back and kiss that baby face one more time.

HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY KELTON!

Kelton just invited a few little friends over for some fun on his Birthday. He decided he wanted to have a penguin party at the last moment, so we colored penguins and made little penguins. Kelton was King Penguin. It is funny how you make a party a penguin party by just saying Penguin in front of every game or thing you do!

Then we played about every party game you can think of! You can get through lots of games when you have such a small group! I think the high light was when during London Bridges Falling Down I accidentally sprayed myself in the face. The kids thought the was hilarious!

I thought they would swim longer, but they were so excited about the pinata that they did not last long in the pool!

Here is the whole group with all the presents. Thank goodness Dad came home about an hour before the party ended and livened the party up with a little music. I should have started the music a long time ago. I can't believe how much more fun it is with a little music!

Yummy!

No playing with fire Kelton!

Kelton wanted an Oreo cookie Ice cream cake! I was so glad I didn't have to try and make a penguin cake!

Kelton is my shy guy and even hid from us the morning of his Birthday because he was embarrassed when we would tell him Happy Birthday!

I asked Kelton "How does it feel to be 6 years old?" He replied, "It feels just like 5!"

Everyone, but Grandpa is excited about the gift(:

The family party! I really did not want to be in the picture, you know when you have those days when your thinking lets definitely make this a no picture day, maybe no one else feels that way, I'll blame it on hormones(:
Kelton was very excited about his birthday! I am going to try to find this cute little video I have of him when he was little. He is growing up so quickly! I really wish I could stop time for a while. I do love all my squeezes and loves that Kelton gives. Halle told me "Kelton is squeezing my arm again!" I told her she was lucky, because Kelton squeezes you when he really loves you! He does little intense squeezes on your arm when he really likes you. I love them. I hope he never stops.
I'm having one of those bummer weeks so I feel kind of bad posting this during one of those weeks when I feel like chicken little running around saying "the sky is falling!" Hopefully my mood is not coming across in this post, but if next week I read this and it is a downer I'll make it up to you Kelton!!(:

Camo Belts!

One of there goals in January was to get there Camo Belts by the end of the Summer! Good Job Kara and Kelton! They have worked so hard to get to Camo!! The Camo belts is one of the cooler looking Belts!
Kara's kicks have improved so much! If she happened to end up sleeping by you, well watch out because during the night those legs of hers lay down some nasty kicks! Brent and I have bruises to prove it!

Halle had to get in on the action! Hayden took the pictures. Kelton has gotten a lot better at doing his best and forgetting the rest! If Kelton had one super power it would be invisibility!

Hello Spokane, Washington! Goodbye boat!

We took a very fast trip to Spokane well actually Banks Lake to deliver our boat to my oldest sister Kerri and her family. They bought our boat! The kids cried a little over the selling of the boat. I told them they had 10 minutes to cry over the boat and then they had to get over it(: This of course caused them to stop whining and crying. I don't know I guess when someone tells you to go ahead and cry about it you just don't really feel like it anymore!! Now I wish I had some pictures of us with my sister Kerri and her family, but I just got so busy there was no time for pictures!!
My brother Tyson is going to Law School in Spokane and let us stay with him, which was really nice, especially since they were not even home. He flew home the next day and we picked him up from the airport and then he showed us around the city of Spokane!! We did miss seeing his wife, Heather and their adorable little boy Brody as they were still in Utah!
Hayden was really sick the entire trip. I felt so bad for him. Here he is at Red Robin feeling absolutely miserable. We found out he had Strep throat and a bad case of some respiratory virus when we got home.

This is a waterfall with in the city of Spokane. Originally I had told Halle and Kelton to look for some waterfalls on our trip, but there were not any along the way(I was thinking of the drive to Olympia which is a beautiful drive). So this had to appease them.

Downtown Spokane has a beautiful park and an unbelievably fast Merry-Go-Round! The kids thought it was great!

It is a very pretty park! Kara, Halle, and Kelton playing on the blocks! We drug our kids all over the place. They were good sports. I did feel bad about all the driving they endured for our quick little jaunt!

Halle and Uncle Tyson! What a great brother I have!! Actually all my brothers are great!

Loved this slide!

Hayden even took a little ride down the slide after the Motrin and Tylenol kicked in a little bit!

Halle with the waterfall in the back ground. My sister decided to buy our boat on Saturday and so we jumped in our car on Sunday (which is amazing since it usually takes me an entire day to pack everything). We headed out at about noon and did not arrive until 9pm in Spokane. Just so you get a little taste of how the trip started and why the trip took sooooo long I will give you the details of our 1st stop. We had not even made it to the freeway and Brent decides to run into the gas station and get a few treat for traveling. He runs in and takes forever. Finally coming out with loads of sugary treats (gag, ex. he got Kelton orange soda and skittles, It actually makes me sick to write about it), then he says does anyone need to go to the bathroom??? Everyone yells yes except Halle. So they all go in to the bathroom (remember we just left the house 15 minutes ago where they all used the restroom). They all come out of the bathroom and buckle in and Halle chimes in with "I have to go poo poo" so we go back in to the bathroom where Halle goes to the bathroom(3 times and has to look at the jewelry on the way out too). Finally we are on the road, we continued to make stops like this all the way. We finally arrived in Spokane & spent the night at my brothers. Then drove the boat 2 hour to Banks Lake. We spent about an hour there and then turned aroung and drove 2 hours back to Spokane. We then spent a little time with Tyson and then headed back to Idaho. We only made it to Kennewick where we had to get a hotel room as we were too tired to keep driving. I have to admit it was pretty fun even though when I think about some of the details it should have made me think it was absolutely horrific!!

Dancing Fun.................................................

Ballet Camp! What a pose!

FOCUS

Kara and of course Halle!!

Halle I meant mimic the pose of the Ballerina not her facial expression!

They told a story about the maple pole (I think I like Kara's new name for the May pole).

And then they did a dance for us! We take from Treasure Valley Ballet! Isn't it fun when your teacher actually looks and dances like a real Ballerina!! She is soo.. nice and a great teacher!
Yesterday Halle said to me, "YOU ARE SO MEAN!!!" I said, "if I am so mean than why do you want to go with me to take the kids to Karate?" She then said in a very mean loud voice, "BECAUSE I LIKE YOU!!" Good to know I am still liked even though I am mean!!

Proof there's a MONKEY in my house!!

Caught in the act(actually he was putting the keys away)!

This guy can scale any wall!

And the get away!

Here we go' round the maple pole!

Kara has the hardest time keeping her eyes open! We can't stop laughing when taking a picture because she always closes her eyes!!
Yeah!! Finally eyes open!

Ballet girl! Why does this girl have any other clothes! She only wears princess and ballet outfits.
We had Ballet camp again today and Kara came home and said my favorite part was when we did "Here we go' round the maple pole!" You gotta love the way kids hear things!!

I think my Halle is a Teenager in a Tiny Body!!

Some day I will write a book "Raising Halle!" Halle and Kara doing a little dancing!
It takes a lot of concentration to hold this pose, and keeping your eyes open is very hard!!!

Halle came home from Ballet the other day begging me to get her ears pierced(like a teenager). She said "Sophie(a little friend in her Sunday school class) has her ears pierced and she does not cry all day long!" ( I had told her it hurts to get your ears pierced.) I explained that it just hurts at first, so she took me to my bedroom found one of my earrings and said, "pierce my ears, please!" I said we needed to ask DADDY, and she said, "No, I don't want to ask daddy, just pierce my ears."

Today I told the kids that we needed to try to keep the back door closed because Daddy had seen a mouse in the bushes by the house! Halle piped up with, "Mickey MOUSE??"

This girl is a nut! I never believed all that stuff about red heads, but I have to say I am a believer after having Halle!!

GOODBYE PAPPY!!!

My Baby has officially grown up! No more pappy (that is what we called it, don't worry we didn't get rid of grandpa!)
We knew it was time to say goodbye to pappy as it was not helping with Halle's disposition! She would stand and yell PAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at the top of her lungs (if you heard her beat it song than you know how brutally loud that is) and we would all scramble searching frantically to calm the Creature (nick named by the children). So Sunday night as it was about time for bed we could not find the pappy. I searched everywhere! It was too late to go buy a new one, and heaven knows it was time to give up the pappy, so that was it. She actually was so tired that she fell right to sleep! Now I won't say it has been easy! The first day we had major withdrawal issues about every hour she was laying on the ground crying and yelling "I NEED MY PAPPY!" I instructed the children that if they found a pappy ( as we know there are some lurking about )that they are not to show Halle and that they should quickly bring it to me so we can dispose of it! I really did not want to start the process over. So I have been spelling everything so that it would not remind Halle about the pappy. So I was telling Kara, "Now if you find the P-A-P-P-Y then bring it to me because if H-A-L-L-E finds it" Halle interrupts at this moment and says, "than I will put it in my mouth, and suck on it!" As you can see she is much too old for the pappy and obviously spelling was not working!

So after 5 days and no pappy, we have a much happier, nicer little girl!! The pappy had served its purpose, but it had definitely reached the point of doing more harm than good, so GOODBYE to our friend PAPPY that we loved dearly for 3 1/2 years! Mr. Blankie just doesn't seem to have the same appeal without pappy!!
